Comprehensive Drowning Prevention Programs
Make A SplashSwimming for Survival
At Swim for Life Vietnam, our commitment to eradicating preventable drowning in Vietnam drives our comprehensive approach.
Recognizing the unique challenges posed by Vietnam’s geography and the widespread lack of water safety knowledge, we have developed tailored programs to address these issues effectively.
Through these focused interventions, we are building a safer future for the children of Vietnam, one swim lesson at a time.
Our programs not only teach swimming but also build a community knowledgeable about water safety. Since our inception, we’ve equipped over 3,500 children with the skills to stay safe in water.

Learn to Swim
Teaching survival swimming to children using the globally recognized AUSTSWIM curriculum. Our instructors, trained extensively in survival techniques and basic stroke development, empower children to swim independently and tread water. The program’s effectiveness is enhanced with annual refresher courses for instructors, ensuring high standards.

Water Safety Education
Beyond swimming, we educate children on water safety through engaging presentations and demonstrations, suitable for school environments. Since partnering with leading experts and organizations in 2016, this program has reached over 72,000 students, promoting safe water practices across Quang Binh Province.

Community Awareness
We amplify our impact through media campaigns and public outreach to raise awareness about the dangers of drowning and how to prevent it. Our efforts include detailed reports and educational broadcasts, reaching wide audiences and building community engagement in drowning prevention.

Rescue and CPR
Training in rescue operations and CPR forms a critical component of our strategy, equipping individuals with the skills to prevent drownings and respond effectively in emergencies. This program integrates global best practices and local needs to form a robust response framework.
